Two league matches of Shaheed-e-Milat T20 Tournament played on Tuesday | KNO

Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNO) : Two league matches of ongoing Shaheed-e-Milat T20 Tourney were played on Tuesday between Valley Boys Safapora v/s Dabang XI and MRCC (B) v/s Shaheed Irfan Cricket Club at Islamia College Old City Srinagar. In first match, Valley Boys Safapora while batting first, set a target of 152 runs to Dabang XI. Chasing the target which seemed easy to touch, the Dabang XI batting lineup collapsed for just 136 runs. The all-round performance by Sajad Ahmad of Valley Boys Safapora helped to bag the Man of the Match. He scored precious 39 runs and took two crucial wickets. The award was presented jointly by Ghulam Qadir Beigh and Muhammad Shafi Khan. The second and last match of the day was won by Shaheed Irfan Cricket Club after they successfully chased the target of 131 run set by MRCC (B). Owais Shah of Shaheed Irfan Cricket Club took 4 wickets and was adjudged as Man of the Match. Nazir Ahmad Nowshari, Muhammad Altaf Bhat and Sufi Mushtaq Ahmad presented the awards at presentation ceremony. According to S. Manzoor the Chief Coordinator of Shaheed-e-Milat T20 Tournament there will be two league matches on Wednesday between new Royal v/s Saudi Fighters and Chadoora XI v/s ACC Athwajan. (KNO)
